Girl I work with has a Cooper S Clubman as a loaner while her X5 is in the shop. Just took it around the block, and the damn thing has balls. Turbo spools almost instantly, I romped on it from a light and it spun through first and it's an auto, lol.

and yes, I am aware that RL is not a speed demon.

And yes...I noticed that the above quoted car is priced higher than mine.

one of my neighbors has one.....and for the longest time i thought he was such a tool because he's this very tall old man.....and i'm thinking...ok he's either an afficionado (his wife drives an A6 wagon) or just super weird...

then i realized he also has an M6 and recently a dark blue Ferrari California...

ughhh now i just want to BE him...lol

I dunno which RL you're comparing to but my RL runs along G35 coupe all day. I've had 3 encounters so far. Those are 0-60 in 6 on auto.

lol leo dont get your hopes up.
a lot of "power" is psychological misbelief lol. unless you're in a high powered exotic.
almost everyone i know except for a certain few have been let down or unsatisfied by dyno runs because they expected more power.

220 sounds pretty decent at the wheels -

hmm

EX vs RL....lmaoo 2 pigs down a straight

(3.5L 297HP, 262lbs of tq) vs (3.7L 300HP 271lbs of tq)

(.83g's vs .84g's on Skidpad)

3754lbs vs 4080lbs

ATTESA E-TS AWD vs SH-AWD

actually this could be pretty fun....like watching two snails races down a twig....
