I need to get rid of swirl marks and scratches... I saw a few on Autopia but wanted to see if someone had on hand experiences with any shops.

+1 for DD. They do my TL 4-5 times a year. $250 for just an exterior polish/wax.

Yikes.

Definitely top notch work though.

No1 can prolly touch Detailing dynamics but expect to pay out the @$$ for it.

Big A detailing does really good work IMHO, I took my car there over the summer. Google him, pretty popular on the NY forums

I say you spend a little bit on a kit and try it out yourself. I worked at a shop and learn how to detail on the side and bought all the equipment... it'll pay off.. since you're also on autopia..

If you want a proper job expect to pay close to $250 or more.. that's my opinion. Anything less, means they aren't really spending as much time.. most likely just hitting the high problem spots.

That's why I do it myself and spend almost a whole day on it... and it comes out better than any paid job. I know some might not be able to dedicate the time.
