NJ and its laws.....

So I had this mod in mind for my 3rd gen WDP TL, saw it around on the 3rd gen TL and decided to tackle it. on the front bumper on the 3rd gen TL there is an engraving of "ACURA". I have seen people blacking that out on their WDP and it looks so hot. was really excited to do this mod..

during the weekend i took the license plate cover off, was gonna pick up the bumper covers, that sits over the license plate wholes, and get a can of spray paint during the week.

my dream was shattered when i found out about the NJ law..... "New Jersey law states that the car must have front and rear license plate"

so much for my new mod.......sigh......

LOL damn...I feel you dude. I just moved back to NJ from Atlanta, and I'm stalling registering the car to NJ for that reason and the fact that NJ insurance is rediculously high. The cars look so much nicer without front plates!

My friends get tickets for them all the time, even with a re-located plate. The plate as to be on the bumper where it sticks out the most. Some friends even got tickets for frames that cover the "NEW JERSEY" or the bottom part. Crazy.

well a decal of a plate is surely breaking the law as well. if not worse, for having a "forged" plate or trying to imitate government property. hmm.
