it was nice going up against TL SH-AWD and dare I say I was almost as fast even with 1 passenger?

well...next time we can try dumping it in S mode and rev it to the max

 

I can't really launch my car, it'll just up shift into 2nd if I tried.

 

I'm sure there's a sport mode in there somewhere, I know my TL would upshift into 2nd on it's own.

RL let's me bounce off the rev limiter in 1st in S mode.

There is an "S" mode but it still will 2x up shift if you try to brake torque or rev and slam it into 1st.

 

It has been said on this forum that with the automatics that the best way to launch the car is to just floor it with VSA off. Something about the flash converter or something like providing extra torque when you floor it from a standstill. My car wont let me brake torque, dont know about you guys. Flooring it from a standstill with my new tires is pretty nice, the car shakes a little bit as the tires fight for grip but it flies after that. You guys have AWD tho.

I was just there. I don't like what the meet has become. There was alot of people without acuras there and they were doing burnouts and making mad noise with their cars. I am fine with the noise but the speeding and all that stuff in the parking lot I dont really like it all. I left early, not sure how everybody feels about this.

 

the people speeding...I don't think those were the usual crew. Well...the usual crew is now Infiniti's thanks to Lex so I dunno anymore.
