hello again. looking to add fogs to the bumper. i allready have the lights just need the bumper inserts/bracket that hold them in place. i do not want to cut my stock ones. looking for ones precut/spaced for this mod....thx

so you wanna do the foglight mod but you want to buy the lower grilles already pre-cut for the fogs you bought?

That may be a little tricky since they do not sell the lower grilles already precut, this is something you will have to do yourself to get them to fit to your fogs properly, im assuming you know that tho??

anyways if you dont want to use the grilles you have i suggest you buy another set and cut them

theres a link, you need #'s 3 and 6 and they are $12.50 a piece.

If you search there are a million threads on here that will tell you how to cut them. When I cut mine i just used a dremel and did a little at a time. Here is a tip, make sure you angle your cut so the front of the grille (the part thats facing you) is a little longer than the back (the part facing in) or you will have a gap.
If you dont feel comfortable doing this yourself you should just post a thread asking for someone to help you cut them. Im sure there are plenty of people in your area that have done this mod that would be willing to help you. As far as you buying them already cut, that may be difficult if the person thats doing it doesnt have your fogs.

thank you very much. ill fill you in a little about myself i love cars and doing diff mods and all but i do not know ho wto do them majority of the time or where to look...but thatnk you for the info it does help a lot...i reallys didnt want to cut my stock ones incase of a mistake...im gonna get that extra set like you said...

for fog lights? That would take any guess work out and make it allot easier if so.

 

you are correct, HOWEVER those are for the 07-08 models. If you have an 04-06 and you buy those you will need to cut them to fit. IMO its easier to cut what you already have

 

you know what the bulb # is for the inner bulbs on the head light for the 04TL? i think its 9006 but im not sure!?

 

yes, 9006 or H4 (same thing)

^ MOST of that info is for the upper fogs, the fogs that come stock in your headlights.

Just so there is no confusion, I think the OP was referring to the lower fog mod.

Now we are talking about 2 different sets of fogs in this thread which may confuse people.
