Just thinking about the spring and maybe setting up a meet and drive that goes from like lower westchester up to bear mountian state park. I have been to a couple e36 meets with a friend and its a sick drive. Will get more concrete details when the spring gets closer just want to see if there is interest.

It seems to be a tradition, that we do a hecksher state park meet in Spring Time... This would be the 4th year we do it. always a blast

Last year, we had honestly, over 100 Acuras and a quite a few other cars... probably 200 total

 

No hassles from the Parks people? It is a state park.

 

No not really, the only time someone came by was when they parked on the grass to take some pics.

 

I'd be down to meet everyone at bear mountain, I'm not very far from that.

Well,

3 years ago, we had a sick BBQ.... Cops showed up. Asked us all to put the beer in plastic cups, and minimize the glass bottles... Cool as hell

2 years ago, some punk losers showed up with 2 vettes, and an E39 540i (with M5 badges, loser)... they were doing donuts and burn outs.... Cops wanted to give everybody tickets and kick us all out, but i rationalized with them. they left us be

last year, cops showed up, but they just hung around to make sure nothing dumb was being done


Honestly, i wouldnt say 'just acuras' because there are people with other cars who are well mannered... a LI Nissan group showed up, and they were cool as hell....

We just need to make sure we dont invite stupid punks who choose to do donuts and burn outs, in a public parking lot where families and kids are enjoying the park

My friend who has an e36 m3 is down and another with a merc s somthing is in. The parking lot had gravel parts and one would have to be a complete ass to atempt a burnout or doughnut.

I'll be around home since I finished school at Buffalo, ny. =P so i'm down hopefully i can start up the northeast tsx e-mail list to get them to show.

 

We should do it like Saturday or Sunday of memorial day weekend.

 

Most people are away that weekend to kick of "Summer".

 

Memorial day weekend will be the only weekend not go for me otherwise I am good.
