Defensive driving in NY

Hi all, I received a letter from my auto insurance saying my defensive driving discount is going to expired. Instead of going through the whole course in the classroom. I did it online. Still takes approximately 6 hrs, but at least you can stop and resume on your own time. I did some research online and usually these site charges $35. I was able to get it for 20 with a $15 dollar coupon. I am registered in NY. Just to share this info if this is helpful to everyone to lower their points and insurance.

Promo code: NYWINTER for $15off.

Some insurances don't allow the online course. I had to go sit in a classroom listening to an old lady talk for 6 hours.

I just received my certificate a few days ago and fax it over to my insurance. It is definitely so much easier than going to class. Just keep clicking next on the screens and answer some common sense questions. It was so easy that I finished it during work, since I can do other things between screens.

I did the online too. I had to laptops going at the same time, so I was able to do mine and my wife's. I was able to knock it out during a snowed-in weekend. Not bad.
