IT was great meeting everyone tonight, got to check out some TSX's (CGP CL9, |crazyazn|, ruserious) and sat in my first RL ever (blazin GT). I also found out that I apparently look like I would be carrie's brother, but I've never met her, so now I'm really curious.
Allon even came out for a little with the 4G until the cop came and told us that it would be a good time to leave. I'm usually pro-police and work with them very closely, but this guy was a dick. My spot worked out alright though, bugs sucked...maybe next time we'll go up to the parking lot.

mglax13, come out to the CT meet!!! Its not too far Its prob not more then 1.5 hrs from you and there is a large NY caravan already started. Look in the Regional NE section, you will see it.

that sucks i got there around 9:55 thinking i was gonna see some ppl, so i went over by best buy couple ppl out there but also cops and d's so i kept it moving.

i dunno if anyone was there tonight... but its one of the random lots ive noticed meets in on thursdays it seems like the huge meet got broken down into a bunch of different meets in different spots lol... i did see like 10-15 evos in the kohls on wednesday night tho

Best buy
Well i guess nobody showed up except for like 4 other people. I went like two weeks ago to best buy and there were like ten fifteen cars there, but are there any other place that you guys generally go. i kno its getting cold, but im stil down to go out somewhere. Let me know if anyone is going anywhere specific.

^ its a bad idea.... Last time Some of us AZ'iners tried... we went to a different parking lot (like 2 miles away) and the cops still gave us a hard time.. and we didnt cause any trouble...
The RWD folks really screwed it up for a lot of people.... dumb kids were doing burnouts, going 80 mph on O.C. road, racing up and down the sidestreets....
sigh..
Maybe we can orchestrate another weekly meet, but either different town or different night IMO

Well if anyone wants there is a lot of space by nordsrom and dicks sporting goods in roosevelt field mall. I dunno but that could be a good spot. otherwise another night at bestbuy or the parking lot next door or behind might work as well. Any thoughts???

in levittown theres a couple of spots in the back of bally total fitness theres a big lot its on hs trnpk n theres a pool hall there to chilll at or the bestbuy couple for blocks down by wendys i go to skool by there n never seen cops around or nun like that

Alright, time to re-open this thread. I WANT THURSDAY NIGHTS BACK!!!!!!!!
Best Buy is out of the question, that is long gone.
Kohl's = trouble ...(last time I was there about a month ago, I waited there for 5 min to see if anything was goin down & no one showed up, except for a mustangs & bikes who lefts after 10 sec, so then I left. Right after I leave the parking lot, I get pulled over by a de-tech, and another 5 de-techs come out of no where, so Im not going there again lol)
Then, 2 weeks ago I went to a new spot at Sears at hicksville, and was so bad, maybe like 30-40 cars and most of em were crap, honestly me and my friend came with the best cars there & left after 5 min.
So anyway, I think everyone needs to work together to make a new official spot so we can have that for the summer for Thursday nights. Screw having little 15 car meets all over the place.
And seriously F**K the police.. good for nothing pos that ruin everything for no reason.

OK I agree... There has to be a place we can all meet up on thursdays and not have to worry about shit... I went out last sat to exit 49 south on the lie and the parking lot of dave and busters was insane like 200 plus cars then a lot of cars went. Its every friday and sat... But there have to be some other places closer to westbury best buy where we can meet...How about the toys r us parking lot across from roosevelt field mall??? or the game stop parking lot close to there???

I've offered it before and I'll offer it again, my office parking lot, 825 East Gate Blvd in Garden City near the DMV. The lot curves back so the rear portion is kind of hidden, plus there is an underground area where we can go too, hold about 30 cars. The main lot is HUGE. Plus East Gate Blvd is pretty low traffic so cops won't be swinging by that frequently.
Actually, we were at Roosevelt Raceway one night when Best Buy was going on, and the cops came and kicked us out, so we went to the spot, and it was pretty good.
