i prob got there like 9:20 and there was already a bunch of cars there already...i think the police kicked us out around 10:30 i guess, because i was the last car to leave the lot ...im prob gunna head down again this week

the cars are ruined by stupid people that do burnouts, drift around the corners of the isles and bring their dogs out...
last year there was the nice car section, all AMG's. M's, some ferrari/lambo's(but somewhat rare) and other nice cars, lexus, acura, s2000's but they didnt do stupid shit. and then the idiots would be on the other side of the lot, not BB, next to it.
now its a huge clusterfuck with no parking at all

Yo man we need to put this spot togeather bro lets put it like somewhere that wont take me an hour to get to lol but like in the middle i guess. How about D&B in farmindale that place has a nice huge parking lot and ive been to a bunch of meets there we could set it up there like twice a month every other week. What do you think ??

We should all deff start somethin here in li there has to be atleast 15-20 acura on here from li. Im not a great organizer so i dont think i would be good at setting it up.

Went there last thursday and it was crowded as fuck and the moment i got there the cops were kicking everyone out the parking lot. They never let crowds get that big anyway. We need to start doing our own meet in the D&B and let everyone else get chased from BB!

lol jus stumbled upon this thread and yea.... i happened to be driving down old country road last night and was wondering why at every light i pulled up to there were 10-15 modded cars at the light with me and then i remembered this meet.... drove by and its expanded to the walmart, sports authority, price club lot next store... didnt swing in but lot looked swamped.. hadda be 300+ cars there... i live right over there and that was my cue to go home before i got blamed pulled for something stupid lol... but if a bunch of AZ people are gonna head next week id def come thru...

That Best Buy meet started from the Loews theatre...The Dunkin Donuts meet was better since most people were mature...hence, no burnout and such....which made me stop going to it.

hey guys.... so as a lot of you may know, the cops have been raiding the long island best buy meets every thursday night. so basically we have no designated "meet spot." the reason for this is that
1. the best buy workers are dicks
and
2. people are doing stupid stuff like burnouts and so and so.
so whether this is a failed attempt or not, im gonna give this a try.
i started a twitter page that i'll update with certain spots/addresses to meet on thursday nights at 9. the meet spots will change by week so cops cannot be prepared. so spread the word after i get a 100 followers the meets will start again.
Here are the details:

honestly... i wouldnt even want to be "on the run" from the cops... this meet, used to be full of respectable car owners who would like to chat...
cops used to pull in, look at the cars, and lead with a polite nod....
now its full of RWD teenagers and people who feel the need to peel out and go 90+ mph down Old Country road... it actually sickens me .. hence when i never go there anymore
i went once like 2-3 months ago for the first time in a while, and it was BAD... like 150+ cars and people just all doing dumb-ass, stupid shit... not only is it disgraceful, but its actually dangerous

nah i think this could work.... as long as people tell other people wisely.
+ theres no outlet anymore and i dont feel like going out all the way to bk for the friday meets. and belmore is all domestic.

sound like a good idea. I feel the same way though. I am not running from cops because of morons. D&B would be great, but just for the club members. Make the rules simple for all the members. do a burnout or screw up you go home dont come back. To old to be harrased by cops, used to go through that all the time in deer park ave. back in the day.
