Belmar beach car meet 7/26
Hey all, I just joined this site.
I am hosting a beach meet at Belmar beach in New Jersey, this Sunday July 26th. This meet was set up through Driveaccord.net, and was originally intended just for Honda Accords. We have recently opened this meet to all car makes. However, we would like as many Hondas/Acuras as possible.
The Belmar police and mayor are going to block off parking meters right on the boardwalk the night before, and they will be blocked off until 9am on the 26th. If you register for a spot, we can guarantee that one is saved for you until 9am. We are trying to get 75 cars lined up along the boardwalk. It will be a great way to meet other car enthusiasts as well as learn maintenance tips, modification advice, etc. Let me know if you are interested.

I think I'm gonna be able to make it. I called off already I'm waiting to hear back from my Head Teller then I'll let you know. I'll be attending with someone else from 6genacccord.

This sounds like a good way to meet other members.
You may notice that your references to another forum have been censored by our computer programs, since we don't allow links to competing forums, so please do not try to circumvent the program by entering them with spaces or otherwise altering them.
Also, if you are connected to a dealer or any business, we would appreciate your not mentioning them in the thread, since that's another one of our forum rules.

Sorry about that post, admin.
Get as many people to come to this, it should be fun weather permitting. (On that note I should also add that the rain date is August 2nd. Hopefully we won't have to worry about that but the next week is looking like continuous rain/thunderstorms).
Just make sure that whoever is coming lets me know, because I have to let the Belmar police know by Friday how many meters to mark off the night before.

I would like to go to this but with the weather looking like garbage for at least the next week, I'm reluctant to commit to a drive out to NJ this weekend (and I'm busy on the raindate).

this sounds like a cool meet.... but after driving 20+ hrs from FL to VA & then NY, im parking up til monday... im going to be too tired, naybe if u have something in august i can get the BK crew to swing through

It's just going to be really chill. Basically, we decided to make it a meet cause a bunch of us just wanted to go to the beach. We'll hang out.. apparently there's going to be beach volleyball and possibly some "beach football." And of course I am going to work on my tan. .
Can you definitely let me know by Friday? I have to report to the cheif of police of Belmar by then.. and the meters are only held until 9am. Everyone is getting there by 8:30.

Count me out Kaitlina. I will not be able to make it down there until the afternoon. I have to help a buddy out in the AM. I may stop by if possible. Or just drive by and honk if you guys are still down there. Haha

Should I reserve a spot for you to be there at 8:30AM? Haha. If you get there afterwards it's possible that the only way you'll get a spot where we are parked is it you wait for someone to leave.

Meet was alright. Not too many people came out cause there was a ridiculous thunderstorm the night before that scared lots of people away. We only had about 17 cars or so. But it was awesome because it was at the beach and I enjoyed soaking up the sun and taking on the waves
