I had an awesome time, I highly recommend going to the next one if you've yet to experience it.

=D I'm the 3rd car in from 1:10 till they switch cameras! The M3 leading & the one series following on the 1st run were very talented drivers.

I don't think in that video you can see me on or crossing the yellow lines but besides that the leader was in an M3 and lives in the area (he knows the roads very well), he also had aftermarket suspension. Trying to keep up with him was very difficult and whenever I had a chance to not cut such a clean line in order to maintain my speed I took it. I looked up a few YouTube bear mountain run vids and they were mostly fast forwarded, ours wasn't!

I wasn't looking to pick a fight with or get an explanation from anyone, just stating that crossing lines is a no-no. If cars can't stay in their lane, they are going too fast for the road. A mod'd suspension car can take corners faster, but even so, drivers need to stay in their own lanes. What fun is driving twisties if you say F'it and go straight ...just not a fan of that kind of driving (regardless of car or mods)

Now I do drive fast on all twistie roads I can find (I even auto-x), but I stay in my lane. I have rolled with faster cars (that stay in their lane) that have walked away from me in the twists, I just catch back up later and enjoy my ride.

Agreed. We did cheat a few times by cutting off the line just for the sake of taking the Apex Correctly. But you have to admit that when you are in the twisties with few cars, you'll do whatever it takes to keep up. Even if you have to take the apex from the other side of the line. Just make sure you know the roads well and it isn't a blind curve.
Join us on our next run in October, you will like it

Hey folks. I'm new to the forum. How frequent are the runs and do you break for the winter when the roads get a little more slippery or is this a every month event?

^^^

Welcome! From what I've read and heard (I've only been on this last "run"), there have been a few over the summer but they're not necessarily held every month. I was told there would be another one this October.
