I need a hotel recommendation.

Last year I stayed at the Borgota, and it was a nice place, but there was NOTHING to do when i wasn't gambling and the pool sucked, which was a major piss off since it is no where near the beach.

This year, I want to stay on the boardwalk somewhere with a nice casino, and a nice beach.

Do any of the places on the beach have 'beach service' where you rent a chaise and there is a waiter to bring food and drink out onto the beach?

the reviews of the hotels are ALL over the place, and while I am an experienced traveler, I can't seem to figure out which hotels have nicer modern rooms, or of it is total hit or miss in each hotel whether you get a renovated room or not.

Suggestions? I am thinking Caesar's, Trump Taj or Park Place, etc..

Tropicana is the nicest behind Borgata. Its not that close to the other casinos though. Caesars is ok too, but more importantly, it close to all the shops and restaurants (The new pier mall and the AC outlets).

AC is horrible, you're in AZ, why not go to LV?

AC does suck for the beaches, but it can be fun. The Tropicana is nice, and there's a decent club in there, plenty of places to eat and nice shops. Ceasars like said above is better if you want to be more in the middle of things. Tropicana is pretty far at one end of the boardwalk.

And don't forget the saalt water taffee!!

U dont go to AC for their beaches. I have stayed at a handful of casinos. The borgota and trump taj is my fav so far.

U got to check out the "POOL" at harrahs. That place is crazy.

Other then that their are plenty other good spots to chill and get drinks.
