dont do business with paragon. if you're going to buy a used tsx. make sure it's an 06 or an 05. if you ever decide to start tuning/modding it, you'll understand why.
and btw, paragon sucks BALLS!!!....

I have no plans to mod...too old. so paragon acura really can't be trusted? why? the car is a cert. 08 with 22k miles. the carfax is clean. should I still stay away?? I really would like this car. are u willing to check it out? that would be huge...

My car was purchased from Paragon Acura and everything is legit. Don't let one person's experience deter you. Every dealer is out there to make money at your expense, just be smart, thorough and careful. I was planning on going to Paragon sometime next week for some warranty work.. but since u need someone tommorow... I don't think I'll be able to help.

TSX at Paragon Acura

"Dark Knight" and "Greco", I PM'd both of you. If either of you could make it down to the dealership before it closes at 7pm tonight, that would be sweet. I just want to confirm that the car is really "certified" quality before I commit to a deposit on the car and a 7 hour one-way drive next weekend. I have no one else to trust but other ziners.

I'm in the process of selling my '08 TL this weekend to a gentleman in Philly, and I am going to try to complete a courtesy-trade at Paragon if everything works out. Any honest opinion from you guys about this '08 certified TSX would make me feel a whole lot better. I, like most on this forum, tend to be pretty picky about my cars. So your input is very, very appreciated. If you guys say that you would buy it for yourselves, then I would feel pretty good. Thanks.

Guys,

Thanks for your help and willingness to check out that TSX for me. I received a call from a fellow Acurazine member on Sunday that Paragon had apparently sold the car on Saturday. Whether that's true or they just placed that listing to "rope" buyers into the dealership remains a mystery. But my search for a car will continue. I still think I want a 1st gen TSX with Nav, so I'll wait for the right one. But thanks for your opinions and effort.

don't buy from paragon, i bought mine there. I regret it...

its convienient to get to, but the service takes hoursss. I sat there and waited for several hours before i could even get my car back after they called me to come get it.

theres a thread somewhere i posted about their bad service when i first got my car. Pretty upset about it. They're service manger was an A$$, and always tried to shade his way out of stuff.

I made an appointment to get an acura loaner 1 month in advance, made sure 1 week before and 2 weeks after was free. Go in for the service, "sorry we're all out of loaners" they ended up giving me a ford focus from enterprise down the block. Made me pay 40 bucks for the "under 21" insurance.

Stay away from paragon acura.

Thanks for your opinions and information about Paragon Acura. I actually just bought a certified '08 with nav this past week from Ramsey Acura. I love the car. I think I got a pretty decent deal too...$22,700 OTD before I pay PA sales tax. What do you guys think?

Anyway, thanks for the comments.

I bought my 05 rl in paragon acura didn't really have any problems with the buying process other than it took forever to sit with their finance guy.
As for their service i have to say they are good and bad.Good, I installed a subwoofer and my boys father accidently drilled a hole in my brake booster. Needless to say paragon had my rl for 2 weeks trying to find the problem. They replaced the calipers, pads, abs unit. Then they found out it was the brake booster. So im thinking they were gonna charge me a ton of money. They only charged for the booster and labor which was 1400 and my boys father paid. Bad, my ciggarette lighter outlet stopped working and they told me 3 times they fixed it and it still doesn't work.It really depends on who you talk to over there.
Oh and they have a bad rep due to a former finance guy that was letting people drive off without approvals. Then asking for the cars back when they get denied by the banks. Oh he was also using other customers as co signers for loans. He's in jail though.
