Seattle, Washington Showdown MEET 8/28,2009
It's been pretty quiet around our part...let's put a meet together! 
Since our group mainly seems to be prone to driving with such "spirit," we'll gear this one towards the general crowd.
Where: Uh...Seattle? Alderwood Mall?
When: 28, 29th, 30th (PICK)
Plan: Meet, greet, cruise, pictures (I got a new camera)
Is everyone over 21? Doesn't matter what time it is, or the date for that matter. Please do voice your own opinions at will! If everyone's 21 (it's okay if you're not) we could grub after the cruise somewhere like...the Parlor in Bellevue, or M&S Harborside. I'm down with Applebees, etc.
I was initially thinking that we could all do some sort of cruise to K. Island, but the last time we went...there just wasn't enough room to mess around. It may be a small island, but the 3 cops that patrol
. No FUN BOO! So, how about the reservation roads? It's a nice little countryside road with fun twists and turns. Kayak Point's close by as well. Whacha THINK?!

Sounds like fun. Car is currently at shop and then at dealer and then at detailers (not sure how close it will cut it).... . Interested for sure - need to rep my 06 NBP! *subscribed*
Alderwood sounds pretty decent to me (muktown). Kayak Point is pretty deep and you have to be careful with the resv. cops on the loose - but I would be down for that.
Date and time? If m-f preferably after 6PM (work before then). 28 (friday), 29 (Sat.) sound pretty good.

OIY! I had to send Ron a confirmation with the title so he could post in throughout the threads. I meant to say the 28th, and Ron now knows. Of course that date is subject to change. I do apologize. What's good for everyone?

I've been getting a few texts...Friday doesn't work for some.
Is there another day/date that works best for others? How about the following day? Saturday, Sunday? Preference to days? TIME?

Saturday is a good date for me... I say we need to STICK to a set plan. No change ups in the plans like prior meets.
If we meet at point A then head over to point B then we need printed directions given to every driver at the meet so that we are all taking the same routes. If someone gets lost or left behind he/she can still follow the print out and catch up with the group at point B.
I say this time we meet at a the agreed location. Take a BIG group shot so that we can post on this forum to show how we do it in WASHINGTON. Head out to another location so that the late comers can join us. Then dinner or break off after the second meet location.

Yeahh what DREW said! I think that one other meet threw alot of people off.

I am up for Friday after 6PM. We should start North and drive South so those of us that have jobs can meet at point "B" if traffic is bad going to point "A".
Maybe point "A" is Alderwood and point "B" is Southcenter.

you should probably figure out who wants to go on the drive first. most of the time its very spirited driving and not everyone wants to do that. i think that alot of peoples definitions of a cruise are different than what usually goes down. theres a difference between a cruise through downtown kirkland and a cruise through the backroads of marysville.
whats the schedule look like? meet at 6 and then hour meet and greet? we should probably consider the time the sun goes down too. i wouldnt mind a huge group shot at the graffiti wall downtown.

You guys remember that McCollum Park and Ride park that we met @ last summer? Let's meet there at SIX. From there, we'll CRUISE to Alki where we took pictures last time.
