^ Thanks. It's such a weird issue that I'm not sure if the XM phone tech's would know what I'm talking about. Althought I don't wish the issue on anyone else, it would be nice to know wife & I are not alone.

I don't have traffic on my TSX w/navi (2006 had no frills), however it sounds like either an XM radio issue or antenna issue. Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery to force the navi system to reboot and reconnect with sats and what not? (not sure if that's what happens but if I have issues with electronics a good ol' disconnect can go a long ways). Also check the back of the navi module to make sure all the wires and plugs are in tight.

Did you tint the windows or put on a roof overlay or anything like that? Certain tints or overlays can affect signal quality.

I used to live in your area (Beaverton, later Lake Oswego) and the XM traffic feature was always funky when I had a loaner car.

Good advice, it must be a receiver issue. No tint yet, but it's on the list and will get it done with RJ Grille.

It's a puzzler and will take a little more patience on my part to uncover.
