Car Detail Washington

Do you guys know of a good place to get a hand car wash/ detail in the Bellevue/ Issaquah area? I almost went to Derek's autowash in Issaquah (had good online reviews... albeit a year or so old).

In the future I plan on detailing myself... I have been reading quite a bit on this site!

Thanks in advance!

@erick, I'll need a clean car if im going to meet up! lol.

@cls, yeah i've seen that site before. I submitted an email asking for a quote, said I'd get a response within 24 hours.. never got one. I guess I should probably just call.. haha. But you're right, looks like he does a good job, but looks really expensive.

This is my first time getting a car detail, so I want to make sure they take care of my baby, haha.

I'll check out Metropolian Detail.
And let me know if you find out the detail place in Bellevue!

Ps. Does anyone know anything about Derek's autowash? They have 2 locations: Seattle and Issaquah.

I knew him and met him through the Audi Forums. He's pretty famous amongst the detailing scene nationally. Expensive isn't a good word for his services though. Through the roof is more like it. For a full detail on my Audi when I had it, he told me it'd be $800 bucks before tax...

I ended up going to Derek's Auto Detail in Issaquah. Paid $150 for it. Wash/ Polish/ Wax. Looks great! Im glad it's sunny today bc I wasnt able to see what they did last night when I picked it up.
If only i can figure out how to upload pics here... I can show (When I click the 'insert image' it asks for a URL address... stupid question, but how can i upload from my computer?)

My house is a good place - I turned my wife's TSX into this:

But seriously, if you want a really terrific detail job, learn to do it yourself. If you're not able or willing to do it yourself, then Park Place Auto Salon in Bellevue does pretty good work.

^ I would never go to Park Place to get my car detailed.

Go to Northwest Auto Salon, the best detailing place in Seattle.

Ben and Blake are pretty cool, and Blake is one of the best detailers I've met. Ben also keeps a couple of his toys at the shop.

jsilas you are right, you should learn to do it yourself, nice clean work btw and we all know how hard it is to keep black clean . . . . .oy vey. I will detail my RL once it gets a little warmer out and it lasts longer then a couple of hours.

@ Plastikman - seriously, it's a little frustrating to do a good detail and then it pours rain the next day.

I can't wait for some longer stretches of nice weather - both cars are due for a full detailing service as soon as the weather permits.
