Just bought a 3rd Gen (2004) Acura TL! Manual transmission, 148xxx miles, and very clean inside and out!

I'm an Acura--even more so a car mechanics-- virgin, haha.

Looking for someone around the Seattle area who can show and teach me about the internal function of my vehicle, the finer side of Acura DIY, and how I can milk the most out of my experience as a TL owner.

Totally a casual, car friend kind of thing. See if it's fun, you know?

I personally will most likely have my car in winter mode. My birthday is the 20th. I'll be out of town from the 25th to the 2nd so it would have to be before that. Plenty of time to plan. It's also winter toy drive season then.

 

i mean looking at cars is cool, but meeting up with internet strangers is cooler!

I've road tripped to Floriduh and met some of the SoFlorida crew!

I am coming from the Subie scene, I currently have a 2014 ILX 2.4 Premium (love it).

 

Damn big change. Enjoy it.

 

Any places in Seattle that you guys recommend to have an aspec kit installed?

 

Do it yourself. It's easy and saves you money.

 

I am thinking to have someone install my aspec kit as well. Don't have the balls to drill holes into my bumper LoL.

I felt the same way when I get my TL new. The bumper should be pre-marked and the lip covers the drill holes. You can do it!

If you decide to go through the dealer I believe they charge around $500 to install.

I am not sure where you are located but you could try and use my connect to possibly get a lower installation quote. I am close with a lot of the employees at Acura of Lynnwood and receive employee discount on parts and service.
