New car shopping over already.
I'll be getting the Hyundai Accent I've been driving after 240sx got stolen last week.
2005 Hyundai Accent GLS Hatchback White
No options at all except A/C and CD player (No power window, no power door lock, no this, no that...)
39k miles...
Planning to get windows tinted right away and will need all the fluids changed also.

I like it that it was free. Zero $$ out of my pocket and some spare money after selling the 240. Maybe next year or two, I'll get something nicer.
This little thing is ugly and stubby so I'll do few little things to make it look better. Found Eibach makes lowering springs already. Haha.. And with some wider tires and wheels, this thing will carve corners like a gokart.

Shit.. I guess when cop told me "drivable" meant it had wheels, seats, and steering wheel still attached. Oh also a seatbelt.
Main thing to start the car was gone. Optima battery.. Pulled the car to the street and since all the auto part stores were closed, had to buy a new battery at Fred Meyer's. $99 for a regular Interstate plus $10 core deposit.
Things missing...
1. Optima battery
2. Pioneer cd deck including oem radio brackets
3. Pioneer speakers
4. Power door actuators
5. Personal belongings including two of my prescription glasses
6. Original Nissan OEM Manual and Service book
7. Coilover wrench
8. Oregon license plates
Something that doesn't feel right...
1. Brake pedal. Did they put new pads? Pedal got super firm..
2. Gas pedal. Greased them? Super loose..
3. Engine. Something rattles or knocks. Either timing chain or rod knock..
Should I just sell it and add that money into a new car or just keep it?

mugen visors are 1) JDM (enough said right there) 2) give better flow for the wind specially with windows rolled down alittle. and 3) look better then the weathertechs.. weather techs have this bubble look about them
you can buy mugen style ones now but they take 2-3 weeks to show up (dropped a hint there)

Thunderbolt is amazing. I got to have it demoed for me at Lacie in Hillsboro last Wednesday. The bandwidth will blow you away. I hesitate with Apple holding the patent for the port configuration, meaning that when other manufactures release Thunderbolt it will probably be in a different form factor. But the sheer speed of it is remarkable. You can literally hook up a LaCie Thunderbolt Little Big Disk with SSD's to your normal HDD'd MacBook Pro and have it render faster on the thunderbolt drive than directly on your computer. I was very impressed.
Another cool thing is you can daisy chain and the bandwidth grows as you do it. That is until it hits its cap of bandwidth at 10gb/s.

I just got engaged and our wedding is October 1st. Honestly I could afford to keep the car, but I'd prefer to keep the extra $310/mo and put it towards savings.

I made my stubby accent little prettier today. Amber parking lights with 5k hid combo. And tomorrow getting windows tinted plus ordering new rims and tires to replace 13" steelies. Since I got the car for free, my girlfriend says she'll pay for the parts to beautify the Accent (she thinks its ugly too haha..).
Now I have something to show for the meet.

^Yep...no difference anyhow. The bill that former Oregon Gov Kolandoucheski signed into law in 2007 basically gives all the rights of marriage to people in domestic partnerships anyhow. So married or not I can sue her for spousal support when she gets tired of smelling my farts and kicks me out.

I lived with my wife for 4 years and had a kid with her before we got married lol
Now been married for 3 years. As to does anything change between living together and being married, nothing other than your taxes, the nags are the same, the arguments are the same, the fun is the same. She can decide to pull the plug on you if you're in a coma and you can file a joint tax return, that's about it lol. Oh and if you have good credit and hers is crap and you get married, your credit is crap now too. Luckily we both had decent credit so no issue for us, but I have a good friend that suffered that.
Now been married for 3 years. Oh and Flipster, I notice you're avy says 2006 Mazda Mazda6, you may be poet and not even know it. Also begs the question, if you have a Mazda6 do you still have to say the manu name before it? lol No hate! Just always wondered that. Most manu's don't put their name in the model name like Mazda.
