Starting this thread to gain interest in track days in Norcal. I'm attending a track day at Laguna Seca with Northern California Racing Club on the 31 of January, price was $194. There will be 4-5, 20-25 minute sessions I believe without an instructor, although you can request a ride along. It would be cool to see other Acurazine members there!

Next event I wanna go to is Sonoma raceway March 15 with NASA.

 

Just purchased the track day at Sonoma on the 15 of March with the national auto sports association.. I did have to buy a year membership so total cost was 243.00 but i plan on at least a few more sessions with NASA so I guess it was worth the extra fee.

 

Got about a week left, no ones interested in tracking their car in Norcal?

 

What kind of tech inspection did you have to do? I worry that if they knew what I was running they would want me to have a roll cage. I would love to come out and run the TL at one of these track days.

 

I emailed NASA norcal, and asked if i had to have a shop inspect the car, or if I could tech inspect the car myself. I was told as long as safety items like seatbelts and steering wheel etc. were not tampered with and your car is 10 years and newer, you are ok to self tech. Wow i see this the day after the event both times! With this luck its almost a sign that i shouldn't be doing track days on the TL lol ill just take my bike out then haha. In for pics or videos just like last time though.

Sonoma was a BLAST! I had an instructor the whole time and learned a lot.

 

I know huh. Damn looks like a blast! Any reason for your car to be all different colors and incomplete or is that your track TL and you have a daily too?

 

In the almost 10 years ive had my car, shes definitely seen better cosmetic days.. Just bad luck with getting into accidents and having liability insurance and what not.. She still looks great on track though lol.

 

Oh haha makes sense. I think i got most of the grills that you need and i know a guy that has the side skirts. Let me know if your interested in getting your car looking good again for cheap

 

Next event I wanna go to is Thunderhill race way with nasa April 19

 

Ill be in Florida on vacation that week lol
