That was pretty cool Hope she doesn't change after you get married. I don't think she will though. She seems very genuine.

Just don't try this one:

The problem was tat the flexplate (i.e. flywheel in an auto) was an early build and was a tad too small for the crank angle sensor to pickup its signal. There are little notches on the flexplate telling the sensor where each cylinder is (it's a magnetic sensor tat sends a signal to the ecu) and then when the plug should fire. Since the stock ecu reads both crank angle and cam sensors, there was no problem. However, the unichip only reads the crank angle sensor and thus, pulling the ignition since it was not getting the correct signal. Luckily, it didnt seem like the faulty setup damaged anything. The plugs were still clean, no smoke was seen, nor pinging heard. The cam and crank sensors were replaced along with an updated 03+ flexplate / ring gear that is 2mm larger.

teh zizzle runs much better now. shifts are crisper and i can rev up to 7100 (fuel cut off).

I sure am now! Yep, that pay raise raised my spirits, plus I was reading the back of my service agreement for the warranty repairs. It has a statement concerning amendments to the Song-Beverly Warranty Act. It states that in the state of CA, if, after a reasonable number of attempts, the defect has not been fixed, the buyer may return this product for a replacement or a refund subject, in either case, to deduction of a reasonable charge for usage.

I am taking it to Acura of Concord next Friday so the factory rep, the service manager, the tech and the client relations rep can take a ride in the car with me to hear the noise for themselves. I would be happy if they find the problem finally, fix it and give me the 7 year, 100K mile warranty.

If not, then I am going to ask for a replacement TL.

Either way, your ass is coming up to the SacTown meet. Where else are you going to get this many Indians in a hooters without the Federalies there?

These guys seriously know their stuff. I'm glad they were able to figure out the problem. You're probably shredding tires with the cooler weather and the additional RPM

you want twisities you say then option 1 is your best bet
Option 1
-----------------------------------------
50E to Placerville
Right on Cedar Ravine
Left on Plesant Valley Road
Turn Right at the Y on to Bucks Bar Road
Youll Come to a little Redneck town called Somerset. Not many friendly People towards imports, but if you got an F350 they are your best friend, so make the stop at the little store.
From bucks bar you are going to go strait and it turns into Grizzly Flat Road
Now youll start to get car sick
Turn right on caldor road
Now is about the time to take your dramamine because were gettin TWISTY!!! (drifting anyone?)
Oh but wait there is more...
Turn right on to PI PI Road, in the little town of Caldor if you thought caldor was bad, you better turn around.
All the way down Pi Pi Road and youll find something you never would have expected, a Highway (88 to be exact)
Turn right on 88 then follow
We could eat in Jackson
take Highway 16 back to Power Inn in Sactown
Option 2
------------------------------------------
Overview goin 193 to goregetown, to highway 49 to 80 to sacramento.

Map quest Placerville, CA 95667 your self and follow these directions

We took a run that went into Georgetown. I'm not sure if this is the "exact" same one. Our navigator for the twisties (H@mmerm@n) guides us through some great roads. I just don't like going up to placerville to run. Nice roads though.

Yes, drifiting, for us RWD's.

Well, if you are looking to keep the car for a long time, then that's cool. I can understand the financial part. That much money, you start really thinking about what you could do with that money. Then again, that's a good down payment for a house. That would be great to be so young, and own property.

That sucks bro. At least you have an excuse to post like a madman on AZ. I'm hanging out at home for once. Going to wash my TL, get some 303 for the dash today and get my glasses adjusted (mad blind).

I was going to head into SF and check out this one bar called Gravity, or head to a new club that opened up in Pleasanton called Aura (10 mins away from me). But alas, the parents want me to stay home, and I think it will be good for me .

That is what I was thinking, not from a "look at me Im better than you" stand point, I was raised in a household where I am used to having a bigger house, garager that I dont have to squeeze into my car, a yard, even a big dog. I cant have that with a 1 bedroom apartment with a 1 car (feels like a 1/2 car garage). That is why I am torn between what to do. I fell in love with this cl when I got it, If you can find my intro tread youll see what the thing looked like when I started, This car converted me from Muscle Car V8 life (although my first car was an accord). ARGH I hate decision making!!!!!!!

You're lucky with that aspect. My parents ask me where I go during the day! At night, they say they can't sleep right until I get home...good times .

Anyways, they don't stop me from going places I want to, they just give me the business everytime I go.

Oh, and fuck that excuse that "This is America!" People who say that assume that you have no culture and are "Americanized" in every aspect. /rant

Anyways, you need to come through to the Sac meet. I ain't installing shit on my car, but it will be fun to roll through the twisties and and seem some Tata (and I don't mean the car)
