Ok, thought I'd let u locals in Sactown know...I just posted an event taking place at Acura of Fremont for 2/17/2013. Check out the thread when u guys/gals get a chance. If any of you would consider going, there's someone organizing a pre-meet in Sactown before proceeding to Fremont that day. Info about pre-meet location and time is below:

Thanks! Looking forward to meeting you also. Been having some issues with my car since I bought it few weeks ago so I'm trying to get that taken care of so I can come out and meet some of you guys. Third time now I just dropped the car off to get fixed. Crossing my fingers. Haha

For some reason the check engine light comes on during a cold start on a cold day. also the awd light comes on. they changed the spark plugs and a coil and adjusted the valves supposedly twice. the car drives fine with no misfire feelings or anything. so its a bit frustrating. i did some research and it seems the symptoms would normally be a valve adjustment to fix this problem. so idk what it could be now. i hope they figure it out. otherwise its gotta go to acura and hopefully the small dealer will pay for the repairs from acura since there mechanic can't fix it. idk if i want to try the new battery fix! i heard a new battery can do wonders for these cars. lol

Any recommended places for fender rolling? I was going to go with TNT AutoBody but they no longer offer that service. I've seen some ads on Craig's but can I really trust them? (0.0)

 

I rented the tool online and did both our tls. Turned out fine imo but now my paint is coming off from rubbing the wheels on fenders =]

I got my fenders cut and they turned out pretty good.

 

Actually found a member off club Lexus who works at diamond auto body to do it for me thanks for the suggestion of rentin my own though, woulda done my girls too. Now I gotta find a tire shop who stretches wheels cause I need to dismount the tires to install the TPMS 90 degree adapters with my TPMS and water diverters. Any suggestions in that category?

 

I think ima get em rolled instead , I should be fine going that route

thats very good to know! wheels are being stored at my buddys house in San Diego so over spring break, i'll be making a trip to finally pick em up! head to your recommended tire location to have them handle the install of the tpms with water diverters then ill get the work done at diamond autobody by jeff

huystAr- yea i still do smogs for $40 out the door, yea man i trust diamond autobody with all my cars. i was talking to jeff yesterday about getting your car fender rolled lol

 

Need to have the smog done on my TSX this month!! What's the address for $40.00 out the door? Never had it done on this car and it has a lot of mods! Is this going to be a problem?

I never had any work do by Diamond Auto but i bought Jeffs old Tein SS when he sold his 3g. Friendly guy and does nice work from what i saw at the shop then

 

Hmm I might go there to get my tires mounted too. I'm trying to look for a place that won't charge too much or scratch up my wheels on the mounting machine. Hopefully dropping your name will get me a discount!

nope, didnt know there was a meet on saturday -_-

 

yea i didn't know until last minute either. there was a huge turnout. i already had plans so i didn't attend. i drove by it though on my out for the night and have never seen anything like it for a local meet.

btw i finally got my car back. they ended up doing a valve job on the heads. car runs great, gets better gas mileage. front struts are shot so i ended up ordering some h&r's that are arriving today and will have the struts and springs installed this week. looking forward to it.
