Greetings sacheads...potential 01-03 CL-S owner here...but I have a question for you all:

WHY ARE ALMOST ALL CL/TL's IN SAC SALVAGED?!

...and only owned by one demographic too! I'm just sayin...

I just want a clean title, doesn't have to be low mileage, well-taken-care-of CL. Anyone?!

 

I had an idea...
I was chillin in downtown at a park right next to Suzie Burger and thought that would be a cool location for a car meet.
Its a real old school type of diner. Probably more inline with classic/vintage cars, but we can still make it a cool event.

If anyone is interested, I can talk to the owner.
Im sure they would be cool with it as I have seen many car events there in the past and its a good vehicle for the owners to expand their biz.

Its because there is a huge underground chop-shop market in SAC. Especially for Honda/Acura's.

I test drove a few last year salvaged-owned...horrible. The moment I now see "salvaged" in the post I navigate away. Why bother with salvaged.. especially with their ridiculous prices and aggressive conning tactics to get you to buy it.

I ran into a lot of this type of problem when looking to buy my TL.
I have a pretty sharp eye and found that a lot of young people were tryin to take advantage of potential buyers

I often called the owner on the shenaigans, which led to them getting pissed.

Also, check your 6 !
When observing a couple incidences, I noticed a "checkmate". Which is a person in the background watching the whole thing go down between potential buyer and seller.

are you talking about russian guys? I bought my car from a russian guy and met with several russians while I was buying car parts for my CL.

Keep looking, clear title cars are here. Try the bee, auto trader, used car dealer lots, carmax. craigslist is full of salvages but sometimes theres a couple good ones on there.

what up my nigs! anyone know places that i can get some cat converters here or around sacramento area? universal or direct fit dont matter i just need one, i know i can just take it to a muffler shop and have that weld on but i dont want to have it weld, thanks.

i think the new cali law says you have to buy new cats now. check online or some muffler shops. If its pretty close to the price for a high flow cat then...its a no brainer

im look for new cat converters. every muffler shop i go to they must weld the cat onto the pipe and every web site i go to the dont ship it to cali so im screwed! so know any place where i can grab a piece?

Firestone on calvine. Have a guy named Tim do your alignment. he's the only one that does a good job. i got the lifetime alignment for about $150.


that place has crappy food. cool location though. nuff said.
