I was told by a friend and mod on here, that some of the multivehicle tranny fluids are compatable with honda transmissions. they would say they are approved for honda ATF-ZR1.
im guessing they are much cheaper then real ZR-1. The choice is yours. I just have walmart's supertech Dexron III ATF with honda lubegard additives in my tranny right now.

btw, are you going to matt's house for the wetsand?

btw, in case you guys didnt know, i dismantled the intake manifold to clean out the gunk and EGR valve. at 99k, there is a lot of crap to clean out of there. im heading out to puchase a couple of gaskets for it and another can of carb cleaner. i already went thru 3. then seafoam tomorrow for the ultimate cleaning!

stupid niello acura gave me the wrong gasket for my intake mani. ill be going to the dealership around 9, so hopefully i finish by early afternoon then ill do the seafoam party. hopefully, i dont finish too late. if it wasnt for this, i woulda finished by like 10 tomorrow.
im pissed.
and i overtorqued my air temp sensor for the intake, so that mistake is gonna cost me 40 bucks. damn, i spent almost 100 bucks on cleaning the intake alone!

yea, there was a lot of carbon in there and in the ERG ports. but not to the point it was clogged but enough to go thru 4 cans of carb cleaner.

also get a K&N filter for your airbox when you remove your resonator val. Then you'll get more air going in.

K&N filter was the very 1st thing I got for my car haha. I now have a ghetto icebox
