Mike you know you want to come to the meet on Sat you should just put your name down for a maybe. Its going to be real cool about 30 people so far. your going to get a lot of ideas on what you want to do with your car.
no you dont. The meet in SF was not that well cause its hard to pick a place to meet up thats large enough, traffic is bad and not a lot of places to eat to fit everyone. its better to go elsewhere in the bay.
but it was a fun meet still cause there was a lot of people.

There are places to accommodate our size but parking was very difficult to coordinate.
We'll see...
I'll take a look into it.
Fort Mason, Fort Miley are great places for parking and photoshoots. We could also meet on the roof of a movie theater as well lol there is one in Daily city. I lived in SF for 2.5 years so I kinda know places. As for food, there is a restaurant at 33rd and clement.
Can u tell me where and when they meet this sat? I feel too lazy to go and read 5 pages of rumors and someone's personal life

No way... The TL is definitely at least a couple seconds quicker off the line than my Mazda3. However, I would have to say that I'm more comfortable driving that car through the twisties than the TL.
I wouldn't mind dropping my TL about an inch with decent springs. But then I might as well consider new shocks and sways. Well... if I'm spending that much money, I might as well find a good set of coilovers. See? Problem is, funds are limited, and I'm just done with modifying cars. They take up too much of my money.

I gotta leave early to go to Chinese New Year dinner. But I don't have as far of a drive like you Kev.
Crap I got so carried away playing COD4 I forgot about American Idol...luckily my tv was on channel 2 already so all I had to do was hit rewind!

Lol I feel ya. My truck is about 5 months or less from b'n paid off. My moms driving it right now but she's get'n a new car. So I get my baby back, I have put over 3k in mods into it so far and its only gunna get worse. As for the TL-S I know its gunna be a money pit but hay im 24 with no kids and I make good money. I cant wait to have my girls parked next to each other
Yep... Enjoy that youth and no kids thing while u can.
After talking about dropping the TL, I thought about it and I really want to go with something subtle. I don't want to pay the price of OEM a-spec, and I don't really want higher rated springs, either. I'm looking into dropping the car a little over 3/4-in with the Koni Yellows and keeping the stock springs. That will allow be to adjust the ride and reduce the gap between the tire and fender to a noticeable amount. Anybody here have, or know someone that has, this particular set-up? I've already resurrected a year old thread in the 3G TL forums.
