+1...

Was interested in the ATLP because of the look of those dual staggered exhaust tips!

I don't think they are going to make it for the CL anyways...

So...left with Comptech...

Brand new...going to be more then ATLP...

Comptech > ATLP

Can find good used deals...they hold their value.

I have never seen aftermarket parts hold their value like Comptech gear...it's incredible!

Yeah.. to be honest, the Miata is still the best driving car for under $25k. My '95 was heavily modified with intake/exhaust and suspension upgrades. It was SCCA-approved track-ready by the time I was done with it, and it was a kick-ass car for something I paid only 11k for back in '00. Sometimes I wish I never sold it.

Time to move on, I suppose. Once I sell the '00, it will be the first time I haven't owned a Miata in a decade. The TL I picked up at Niello Acura in December is more practical with the baby. If I want to drive a more nimble car, I can always hop into my wife's Mazda3 GT, which is more than ample around the twisties.

I dono about TL/CL motors, but as for TSX's, get a header first. I got mine and I am not even thinking about upgrading the exhaust bc it sounds deeper now and adds some ponies

That Mazda 3 GT is a little rocket. Is that the same as a Mazda Speed 3? I'v had a few run door to door with me.

Looks like a good buy to me. The best price on Google is $197, I would try and talk him down to $170-175.

If you got the cash pick it up, thats a nice mod for your tl-s

just delete it or are you talking about having straight pipe? my current set up is deleted intake resonator, deleted exhaust resonator, straight pipe from cat going to Tanabe cat-back exhaust (which has been correctly mounted now, thanx to Kurt LOL) not too loud & cops dont hassle me..but then again, i dont live over at EG so....but if you need to, you can see a friend who owns a shop here in SJ (Babe's & Lightning Muffler Service) at :
(408) 294-8092 and ask for Kurt tell 'em you know "Angelito" w/ the Acura. He really knows his sh*t & takes the time to get it right. Even when it's just a small job

Hey man...I have gone up to several meets in Sac.

It isn't that bad if there is no traffic.

Throw in a couple of CD's and you are there before you know it.
