I dropped the car off at 10am, and it was ready by 3:30PM. Not too bad. He did the rims and interior as well.

Those prices seem very reasonable. I think I may do the works before the summer. Can you PM me the contact info of the detailer?

Also, what's the name list that is floating around this thread? I am too lazy to look back and see the root of it .

You can try to claybar them out. You can also try 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. People have also used CLR to get spots out. You just put a bit on a towel and work the spots lightly.

Since your rims are totally painted, you could use some of that finesse it II stuff I got by hand. We did that on my door jams since there were too many edges to use the buffer on.

Listing Price for TEH Z YO

Ok, the day has come....

TEH Z YO is paid off and I am just waiting on the title.

KBB on the car (private party value) is $26K.

I am not stripping the car of anything, except my V1. (will be used in whatever I get next )

I got a good 4K in Nismo stuff alone, and another $2500 in misc. items.

I am thinking of listing it for $27.5K. Does that sound like a good price to start with????

Thanks guys!!

It's so. One thing though, it's not about the wedding. It's just something that I would eventually have to do at some point. I can come out ahead right now, so I figure it's the best time to part ways.

I think you can get more than $27.5K for yours if private party is $26K. I think you start at $29.5K and work down from there. If you look at the parts cost alone and then add in installation, there's got to be someone out there that would be willing to jump at your combo.

It hurts me to say this but Good Luck with your Sale. Hope you find a good home for her. If we're lucky, you'll find a buyer in Elk Grove that likes to do Twisties

I can appreciate where you're coming from. Cars are not a good investment unless you get a classic.

Subaru Legacy GT has 4 doors and would make a good family car

I just totalled up my nismo parts alone from a cheaper site on the web. $4200 for parts alone w/o install or shipping. I would have liked to have the 3.9 out of the car, but oh wells. Just have to get lucky.

While it sucks that you are getting rid of teh Z, I can totally understand.

I am thinking of ditching the S60 in favor of a 4 banger Altima....Wife likes it better...
