from what I understand they come painted already. and if you're going to do it peice by piece, I'd do the back lip, then the front then the sides. The older TLs could get away with starting with the front, but the Type S' lip is so dramatic that I think it would look odd with just the front.

 

Even though I live in Napa, I am ALWAYS downtown or in Carmichael or S. Sac. My TL is fairly incog though, even with the intake/exhaust.

 

484 for paint and install thats pretty pricey... and yea ur goin 2 the dealer so it will be more money if u ever get it all and wanted painted let me kno.... I have hook ups in Sac

I just checked again and made a mistake. Here are the prices from the dealer:

Front kit: $264 or $383 installed
Sides: $286 or $422 installed
Back: $264 or $434 installed

I dont know how hard it is to install these myself. It would save me around $425 to install them myself but not sure if i trust myself to do it. haha.

Oh and about the paint, I can't message you since i'm still new but I do want to have my rear bumper re-painted. I bought my car used and the guy that had it before me had some scratches on it so repainted it but the paint is kinda foggy looking. I tried to wax it but didnt really help. it shouldnt be to hard to install mostly bolts... I kno thats how it is with the 2nd gen TL.. Ill send u a email on how much it will cost to get your bumper repainted. Should be much since ur car is NBP

Tuneups, exhaust, precat, CT Supercharger, Suspension, Kits, etc he can do. Other memebers here can speak upon his behalf. WDP415 posted a lot of pictures you can "search" for his thread if you like.

 

Where is your shop located ? What is your hourly rate ?
I wouldnt mind finding a decent shop/tech to take my car to for the more technical jobs.

I ordered the body kit and much like my intake & Exhaust I am going to install that myself. However, I was considering outsourcing the labor for the suspension install that I have planned as I dont have the special tools/alignment rack that might be required for that job.

If not interested, do you know of other decent places with acura savvy people ?

we do everything we also alighn slammed cars ..our alighnment machine is built into the ground ...smog machine also built underground for lowered cars ...

Just curious what are your alignment price's for us Acurazine Memebers ??? I like the fact you have a alignment machine built into the ground There is only a few shops who were able to get my car on the rack w/out scrapping it. My side skirts, front and rear are basically on the ground almost going up
