It's kinda like a TL and a TL Type-S, except the engine (LS1) is pretty much exactly the same on the Corvette, Z28 and SS. Mostly cosmetic and the Z28 shocks are pure crap, and the SS has Bilstein, wider stickier tires, stiffer bushings and a freer flowing exhaust.

Good to see that people know what's up though heh. Some people out there think the SS is a crapload faster than a Z28. One guy thought only the SS comes with stick, some think that Camaros don't have a backseat and that manual Camaros only come with 5-speeds.

I'm thinking about getting a Trans-Am though. Almost the same thing, mostly visual and interior differences. Camaro seats suck, I don't think designed for short skinny Asians

You are my second asian buddy to drive a domestic. My friend here has a De Tomaso Pantera, and a 95 Cobra (i think, but it's that bodystyle) with a procharger pushing 600whp. It's freaking nuts!!

I like these cars a lot, cause they're fast and cheap, I'm just too broke to afford a Vette. They also handle like a wet noodle stock but I'm slowly fixin that I want a Z06 badly though I was looking at an 03-04 Cobra too before I got my car but they hold their value too well, and they still do now. They sound so bad ass...

No Camaros/Firebirds (or Trans-Ams, kinda same thing) came with an LS2 unfortunately. WS6 is basically a Trans-Am with the Ram-Air hood, wheels, suspension package, like the SS. The WS6 hood is definitely bad ass though, looks so mean.

lol there's a whole bunch of different names and packages for F-Bodys. like the SS, RS, 1LE = road race suspension package, WS6, Firebird, Firehawk, Formula, Trans-Am.... even Formula WS6 and Formula Firehawk. just waaay too many, ugh. If I explained them all it would probably take up the whole page

My car has been great for about a year and a half but its getting up there in miles now. I got 90k+ and one of the pulleys is on its way I think, just too lazy to take the acc. belt off, find out which one it is, then get a new one and change it. oh and my license plate bulb, fog light and sidemarker bulb died.... that's about it. oh and the t-tops leak which is annoying. I'm afraid of taking apart the tops to put on a new seal and not knowing how to put them back together
