NorCal gal saying hello!!
Hello Hello!! It's me Micaiah! A friend of mine told me about this place when he found out I bought a used but very loved Acura TL. It's an 05, nothing too fancy because it's pretty stock but the previous owner really took care of it. I didn't know too much about Acuras but my son really wanted one and has been bugging me for two years.
I finally caved in.

Got it at the beginning of summer and to be honest, I really don't know much about it. I know more about my other cars, to the extent that I will not be afraid to work on them myself a little (installed my own CAI, and have done minor maintenance like oil changes, spark plugs, etc) so I'm hoping to learn from you all here.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone!! I think my first mod will be the wheels.
Got some sweet Vossen wheels but I need to get the tires. The tires I originally wanted of course had no mileage warranty and because this car is an every day driver, I needed to get something that will last.
I'm breaking the mold by not getting it lowered, either.

Well I've always been into cars, mainly muscle cars. Just recently I got into imports.
In 2008 had brought home a new Dodge Ram Hemi (man that was a nice truck) that I started to fix up but ended up trading it for a small import car (I know, totally different type of vehicle). That car is zippy, handles extremely well and VERY well made. From there I appreciated the workmanship and vowed that I won't get another Chevy/Pontiac/Dodge again.
I hardly drive the little car, I ended up still wanting a truck and bought a Toyota. This new Acura though, is pretty impressive. I was hesitant because of the miles on it but in my search it was the least expensive and well kept out of the ones in a similar range.
I've never had a Honda or Acura before so I'm new to the line.

I'm afraid to go low. I've seen so much fender damage that people have from turning. Oh and scraping the front lips going over driveways. I really don't want to shave or roll the fenders. This car is a daily driver that is going to a college campus three times a week. I'm hoping the car isn't found on four rotors one day.
I got pics from the moment I picked it up but they are not that great. The sun was going down and there was another car parked next to it.

When I get the proper valve caps and get the car washed up I'll take proper photos.
