Honest Mechanic Installing my Super Cup Kit?

I purchased the Neuspeed Super Cup Kit with has the Neuspeed sports springs and Koni shocks.

I was looking around to get an estimate on the install by a shop, found this good one on Yelp. I asked them, the guy said it won't have warranty because it's aftermarket, and he got back to me after some research and he said

"I must decline because we are familiar with the set and would rather you take it to a shop who knows more about it than having us take too long and possibly doing it incorrectly."

Well I guess I will have to go elsewhere. I told him "I appreciate the honesty"

I just don't have the equipment, but is it hard to install? I looked at the instructions online andit wasn't THAT bad.

Keep me updated I am looking at the same kit and will probably try to get it before summer is out. Let me know how the install went and where you went too...

Did you ask the shop you called why they did not want to do it?

Its really not that hard to do yourself with hand tools, 3 bolts on the top of each strut, 1 on the bottom, and rent a spring compressor from autozone! DIY and KNOW that the work was done right.

Try calling Auto Innovations in Milpitas & talk to either Steve or Orlando, they're the owners. Also, if they're too busy, try calling Joseph at Tire Outlet off Alum Rock Ave in San Jose. I know you mentioned Oaktown & south bay area but that's just my
