hey guys, here is a copy/paste of what i posted on the subaru clubs thread. it's practically the same thing i've posted last year and the previous year
there's like 350 or so parking places in that entire lot. plenty of spots will be taking from customer of those businesses

last year people spilled out over to the mall parking lot, which is private property, and security was all over them making them leave (plus pleasanton PD)
i don't know why they continue to choose that parking lot
the first year this happened they originally posted it for the top story of the sears parking lot of the mall... which is private property and security was all over them from before it even started. which is why at the last minute they moved across the street to the jcpenny lot.
but since this meet has grown the last few years, that lot cannot handle the amount of cars (only 350 or so spots as i mentioned)
a few of us are planning on going to dinner at the mall then watching the madness ensue outside at the event.
so if you go, do so at your own risk! there will be police, even in undercover cars. so if you have a very modified car, or are acting stupid, you might get popped.

i'm going to go have dinner with some people at the mall then maybe walk over and see what's going on.
but what i posted above is true. i posted a link for the google map where you can see the amount of parking in that lot
