anyone here up for a cruise from Milpitas to San Gregorio State Beach? This a cruise being put together by a local bay area car club (no, it's NOT TeamREV...lol) to commemorate September 11th. Obviously it will take place on that day (Sunday) and the meet up time is 10am @ The Best Buy parking lot in Milpitas. Of course, myself along w/my teammates Sir Eddie, Vimal, and Pedro and others will be participating. Hope some of you that we haven't seen in quite some time (HINT: HEY-SUSE!!!!!) would consider going. It will be for a good cause, so looking forward to hearing positive results from you guys/gals....

Don't think it was necessarily one event but yeah it sucks because I couldn't get a replacement from wheeldude.com
The factory is out and only estimate I got was like 8-10 weeks out! FML
YO! I've been MIA. Just working like crazy and trying to keep busy working out.
Kind of want to get rid of my car or keep it as a daily driver.
Was debating a part out but I don't got the stock parts and the cost for labor.
I'm just all over the place. Saving for an E46 M3.
Whats been going on with you?

thanks!
335d FTW. 420tq and 40mpg highway. That car would be the perfect DD. Wall of torque.

sorry to keep whoring but I took a few quick pics after work yesterday. Lowered the front a bit more and got an alignment. I need spacers in the front, the inside tire is rubbing against the coil

Where's the chicks?! I expect you to have impregnated a few people by now!
Yeah of course I really like the body. I can find a used 335 for just about the same amount as the E46 I want. I don't know enough about the 335. Did you ever drive an E46 M3? If so, what did you think compared to your E92?

The M3 is much more raw, the engine is N/A and has more of a sense of urgency. Its a blast when you DRIVE it but for just cruising its lacking some low end tq.
the 335 feels quicker. Cruising around town and the freeway its effortless to pass people because of the tq. It's great in the low and mid end.
The powerband is almost opposite I guess, the M3 gets more fun as you rev it and the 335 starts to lose pull in the upper range.
handling wise the M3 wins hands down. The 335 has some body roll at limits and you don't feel as confident. Nothing a set of coilovers can't take care of though
Mod wise the 335 wins, some incredible gains for very cheap. Plus one word: chip
IMO, test drive both then make your decision, it could really go either way but it boils down to the details that best suit your style/needs.
For what it's worth, my ideal setup would be a 335d as DD and an e46 m3 as a weekend/fun car
