No AC...lil heater off the block. Cold as hell. Things like that which is why I don't recommend it as a daily driver.

If you have a girlfriend...lol

You could upgrade to what I believe was a "swamp cooler" if I'm not mistaken...

Be careful with the swamp cooler. Someone would probably snag it if you park it outside all the time. If you go with the full exhaust set up, you will lose the heater.

These things are pretty good little monsters off the line. My bro had an 1835 in his 59. Use to eat up 5.0's and IROC's back in the day. 1641cc, throw some dual carbs with a transmission w/ 4:10 gear, and you will have a lot of fun!! The HP may be low, but these cars aren't heavy at all. I could damn near pick up the front end of one.

Installed some JDM Toyota door panel inserts. These were made by Toyota and have a pearl in them similar to my center console.

This one kicks out a bit because it doesn't have the notch like the passenger side

Bugs have hardly anything hanging. The only thing that really scraped was the exhaust. I dunno if it's worth going air. You can ride pretty dumped in a vw. Got links for the kits?

For tires, i say 175/50-15 for the 8" and 225/50 for the 10"

Tires easy carries them, but they are getting low on stock. I was tempted to get them for my Works, but don't want to fail on another stretch attempt.

Here they are on an 8

The VW's front end is just a beam to begin with. All your spring is in that beam and it they run vertical. The dropped beam with regular shocks was suppose to run the best but they don't really ride that smooth when they are dropped. I would have to look into those coilovers more. I don't know if they have you remove the springs entirely from the beam and run those or not. Even the rear has spring plates.
