Hi all. Just want to get on the forum while the new car smell is still on the Acura. I look forward to reading about what others experiences are with their Acuras.

We just picked up a 2016 TLX for my wife's daily driver. My wife previously had a 2004 TL, and it was a good car, but this one is a lot nicer. We are hoping parts availability, parts pricing, reliability and maintenance costs are better than the 2009 Audi A4 3.2 we traded in. In any event, we have the maintenance (prepaid 4 years) and warranty (5 years) to cover us for a while anyway. We normally like to keep our cars for a long time, so we are hopeful this one won't get too pricey to maintain and repair as it gets older like the Audi did.

2001 Mustang GT Conv (wife's toy)
2003 Yamaha R1 (track bike)
2007.5 Aprilia Tuono (my toy and probably the only Italian vehicle I will ever own)
2013 VW Touareg TDI (tow vehicle)
2014 Pace American Journey (6x12 enclosed trailer to haul the track bike)

Congrats! I have a 2004 TL and just recently purchased the VW GLI but wish I bought the TLX. How do you like the car so far?

 

We went on vacation shortly after buying it so we haven't driven it a lot yet. So far so good, but we are still learning some of the features. The auto shut off gets annoying in rush hour traffic so I am hoping there is a way to default that to off.
