New TL; Car Enthusiast :)

Hello Acurazine!

I'm the proud owner of a 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD Tech with 44k miles. Loving it so far. I'm the second owner and have put in quite a lot of work trying to recoup what the previous owner neglected.

So far I've:

Buff/Wax (pretty sure it never was waxed after purchase)
Leather clean/conditioner/protectant
New Rim (one was bent)
New ian WRG3's for winter
Update all maintenance (fluids/differential/tranny flush/brake fluid; etc etc)

I'm also the proud owner of an 89 Toyota Supra Turbo which I used to drag race with, but now it's tuned as a drive daily for the summers. I also am blessed to have the last car my father restored; a vintage Porsche 911 that I bring to car shows and take evening cruises in when it's nice outside.

I spent a lot of time autocrossing and road racing with a rare 1994 Toyota MR2 TRD spec. Unfortunately, I sold the MR2 as I need to downsize my storage requirements.

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information floating around on the web specific to this car, so I'm hoping to ask questions here and use the forum's resources.
--> My first challenge is a humming sound coming from what I think is the intake/airbox. I took the filter out and found some debris in there. I vacuumed out the intake tube and reassembled. I had a particular challenging experience trying to get the airbox screws to line up and sit flush. Could this be the cause of the humming sound?

Thanks everyone,

Jonathon

Thank you sir. You have a very nice AP2 there. Looks like you could eat a sandwich off that engine bay

Thank you! I try to keep it as clean as possible, however, I must admit it looks cleaner in pictures than in real life

Share some more pictures of your 911 if you can!

Some work I did on the exterior/Interior shots for the 911. When I bought it back from the person who purchased it from my dad (20 years ago), it sat in a barn for about 8 years and needed a lot of TLC.

I redyed parts of the interior...the leather had been too far sunbleached/mold damaged. Looks bran new now.
