Greetings Acurazine! I purchased a '07 TL in Dec of 2017 for a commute vehicle because I was putting a lot of miles on my BMW. We already had an extra car in the household, but I didn't like driving the SUV. The plan is to use it for a year and give it to my son when he's old enough to drive.

When I bought this car I had no intentions of doing anything to it, just maintenance stuff. However, after a week of ownership the mod bug got the best of me. In a month and a half's time I have replaced the interior, changed the suspension and wheels, audio system upgrade and have done some other little things. Maybe I'll create a build thread to share with members the progress of the TL.

A little history about me. I have modded/customized cars for 30+ years and have owned many Honda products. My first ride my parents got me a new '85 Accord for my 16th birthday. Within a month I swapped out the suspension to Suspension Techniques springs and Tokico shocks and put on a set of 15x7 Sentra wheels with 205/50/15 (don't laugh, but that was the sh1t back then). From there I remember driving from the bay area to Jackson Racing (Honda tuner) in Huntington Beach to pick up my bumper spoiler. I owned that car for a year and gave it to my brother because I got into watercooled VWs. After 2 modded Sciroccos, I got bored and bought the new and improved '88 CRX Si. I sold that car after 6 months for a new '88 RX7 Turbo 2. That car had full HKS and Racing Beat parts. Many more vehicles in between, but in the past 12 or so years, I have owned mostly European cars. The latest is a BMW F30 and the wife has a VW CC. I'm looking into trading in my bimmer for an M4 and the wife's car for an Atlas.
