new member on the tsx side old member on the tl side
my old ride that ive had for 3 years.
2002 tls loved the car but it is looking outdated fast with all the new cars that have come out. so decided to search for something comfy and yet still similar size as the tl. test drove the tsx and absolutely loved the feel and body lines of the car. it is absolutely a car that i do not regret buying at all! anyways on with the pics

and then did some work
had a car accident and the car was out of commission for 3 weeks. so in the meantime bought a new car and here she is!
did the headlights the first night i bought her and ordered the replica euro-r lip kit. (fit like crap! so decided to get the oem kit so much better and cleaner!) also bought the window visors which i will slap on after getting the windows tinted. and hopefully my coils will be here the next week or so.. then slap on my 19 bbs lms! woo hooo! been a busy and tiresome 2 weeks but well worth it imo!

I am super anal with body parts tho as I am a automotive painter.. I fitted the front and rear already the sideskirts needs work too. Overall I do not recommend getting the replica kit. If you look very closely at other members that are rocking the rep you notice the sideskirts are pretty warped and also the bottom of the front lip is also warped... Oem is seriously way to go for a Acura.. If you have a Honda civic then maybe a rep kit? All personal opinions :P

your tl was really clean,and now you are doing great on the CU2 as well haha
i agree with you on the rep kit. not my taste...i was just considering the front lip...but the fitment kinda bugs me lol. and i dont like the oem sports bumper either (looks like its stretched out, longer, in the front on a side view)
so that leaves me with...cf jdp engineering front lip...or type s lol

yea i did sell my old ride to tony. nice guy. yes maxed out on teins.. got some coils im going to drop this one too.. make it look like a fat tank 
i think you know michael too.. he sent me pics of your ride.
the oem sports bumper is more aggressive.. but imo it fits the nicest out of any lips or bumpers.
good luck trying to find a real euro r lip without breaking the bank... the jdp lip isnt bad either.. but its cf so if your are dropped you might break it into smithereens haha

i got mine from the same dealer in WA. side skirts were warped but i used a heat gun to make it fit.
where are you getting the motorized license plate?

your sideskirts fit? when you open your doors they dont scrape the inside? they are just too much work and do not really want to drill on the cars metal.. i tried baking the sideskirts at high temp and tried using heatguns and they were just too warped lol.. front and rear lip fit alright but the bottom just seems saggy in certain areas...
getting the plate from some guy on ebay.. i just typed in "motorized plate" and some guy in tx is selling them for 130ish... so not bad
gonna get a new sub in there with a nice flushed wall.. just gotta do the measurements and stuff

The OEM Modulo Aero kit looks great in PWP.
I got my Type S front lip from the UK and it does fit very nicely.
Another Canadian forum member from back east has organized a group buy to get the JDM Type S kit from Japan through a dealer in Ontario, the cost is reasonable as they used seafreight instead of airfreight. Hopefully the shipment has left Japan before the earthquake hit a couple weeks ago.

cant seem to find pics of the modulo kit.. only one i know is the euro r kit and the replica "type s" lip kit which looks like the euro r..
might just slap on a jdp lip if it fits the sports bumper and also get the modulo grill.. will have to wait on those as those are not priority lol. slamming it is

Damn. Baked your lights the first night? Thats balls out. I guess being in the paint business its second nature but still. Cant argue with the outcome. Cant wait to see it on coilovers.

New tl is just too hideous sorry and the 3rd gen just didn't seem to grab me much..maybe cuz where I live I see so many of them..

ill take some pic of the lens up close later.. im using vleds for the turn signals and i already redid the other headlight as soon as i recieved it lol. no leaks or anything so its all good. however did get my windows tinted today and took a pic. going to put on the visors tmw when i get to work.
also got my tires and tpms sensors mounted onto the rims yesterday. just waiting for coils before i slap these on. rather roll on stockies then a 4x4 lol

no tints on front. just the effect from dark tints haha (25%)
specs are 19x8.5 35 offset. tires are 245 40 19 should be close to flush. not going for hellaflush stuff because i find skinny tires on the tsx looks stupid unless your running 20s.. i dunno the damn wheel well is just so huge on these cars

damn i wish i had the balls to clear my lights...looks clean, the pwp looks good with the aero kit and those bbs wheels are serious, your cars comin together great keep up the good work
