Hello Acura owners, just joining 'cause I found a neat post on changing shift pressure sensor on AcuraZine with a Google search. I have a 2001 Acura MDX touring edition, 250,000 miles and in mostly very good shape. I am second owner and have enjoyed 3 years ownership so far. Recent trans temp overheat, hoping a replacement trans cooler will help. It will go on front of radiator, completely replacing the troublesome in-radiator cooler. Also have had trouble code indicating pressure sensor failure so that may be next.

I live in Northeast GA, retired IBM, got the MDX because we need the cargo space. My wife and I are raising puppies (one at a time) to be future service dogs for Canine Companions for Independence and they prefer that we carry the pups in kennels when in vehicle. The Acura I found at a Toyota dealer met the space requirement and has turned out to be a great vehicle (with a few minor exceptions, but then doesn't any vehicle have its "bugs"?)

Hoping that I will find this to be as good a resource as MDXers.org has been for me.

Welcome! Awesome work that you're doing with the pups. I hope you have many trouble-free miles.
