Hello! I've lurked on Acurazine for a long time, but I finally decided to join. Proud owner of a 2020 TLX V6 SH-AWD with the Technology Package. It's my first "real" Acura ownership experience - for a hot minute in the late 90s I had a 1998 Integra LS, but I had to sell it after a few months of ownership because the insurance rates were ridiculous, and I wasn't making enough money to justify keeping it. Longtime Honda owner - my last car was a 2012 Accord V6 coupe that I ran to over 228,000 trouble-free miles. Looking forward to seeing what the TLX can do!

Welcome to Acurazine. Post a picture of the ride. How was your experience transitioning from FWD to SH-AWD?

 

Thank you for the warm welcome! I think, even after over a year of ownership, I’m still figuring out the limits of the SH-AWD system. A lifetime of FWD training has meant I haven’t gotten my head fully around the limits of grip that the system can provide. Also, it makes the car an absolute beast in the snow (and I equip it with 3PMS tires for winter driving - in a storm back in January, it was almost like the snow didn’t exist, grip leves were so high).
