Hello All,

I purchased a new 2019 RDX Advance in Dec 2018.

I have been a Honda owner since my college years ('94 Honda Civic EX, "97 Accord DX, '07 Accord SE V6, '09 Accord EX-L V6 , '11 Pilot Touring 4x4 V6, and '13 Accord Touring V6 -wife).

I test drive the Mercedes GLC300, Audi Q5, Infiniti QX50, Cadillac XT5, Range Rover Velar and the Acura. I was able to drive the Audi, Cadillac and Range Rover for 3 days each (2 rental on vacations, Range from the dealer). I was impressed by the comfort Cadillac, Audi was underwhelming, and the Range had many tech-glitchy problems during my 3 day run with it.

I was looking for a balance of luxury, tech, and price.

Overall, I really like the Mercedes and Acura. These were in mine and my wife's opinion, great cars.

Traded in our Accord and Pilot. Got a Silver GLC300 4matic for her daily driver, and the RDX for me.

I really like driving both cars. Obviously, the RDX has more of a sporty feel to it. I like to use all 16 position points to get me in a snug, bucket position. When I drive the GLC, I like to sit in a more upright.

Both eat up the potholed road of the suburbs, give you what you need in terms of power when merging and look good.

I have yet the chance to really 'drive' the RDX and test out the SH-AWD, but I did put in though a double bend turn in my area and it felt very stuck on the road.

Looking forward to sharing info 'If I actually know something'. I do find these forums very helpful for perspective buyers, and those of us who like to keep an eye out on up to date new regarding servicing and maintaining our cars.
