2019 acura tlx apec sound system vs 2019 rdx sound system
Some might say the rdx is better because of more speakers but I'm listening to hip hop and reggae and they sound better with good base. So which car do u think would be better for base music.

I think that will depend on the type of music you listen to, the amount of bass you expect and the volume you want. I don't know of any factory system that delivers thundering, earth shaking bass though I am sure there are. Acura isn't known for 10" + subwoofers.

Since we're talking hip hop, I will add my 50₵ instead of 2₵.
As much as I love the sound of the '19 RDX sound system I would certainly appreciate a stronger bass line. Same for listening to my hard rock collection.
If you want gut thumpin' you are probably going to end up with a sub.

Granted adding a 10" sub would [typically] yield better performance in terms of air/volume movement/feel, but I often wondered why OEM system(s) such as ELS do not offer a dual sub setup ? If your into HT, your aware then just adding a 2nd (equal) sub, you can 2x the bass performance while using 1/2 the sub gain. It would seem to be a logical offering for hi-end OEM systems, but I not sure if I've seen such an implementation (outside of the classic 6x9 rear deck setup but typically those re not true subs).

No not hard. Do it if you want. You will need to run a power cable with fuse from the battery to the trunk (or wherever you install) which is the most time consuming portion. You will also need a ground (negative) cable which needs to be as short as possible and connected solidly to the chassis and amp negative.
Get a cheap RCA line out ( RCA Adapter with Line Out Converter ) to hook into the speaker signal (won’t be digital but you want power, right?). Some amps turn on when an RCA signal is received this will save you having to run a remote wire to turn the amps on (there will be a slight delay as the amp powers on). I like to install my amps right on the box. Saves time and effort and are relatively easy to remove if you need to use the trunk for a road trip (great for leased cars...no holes to drill).
After that it’s just wiring the speaker into the amp.
