Smile Intro

Hi gang,
I'm happy to be part of the crew. I picked up my first Acura last November and have been enjoying my RDX ever since. I'm currently on my first travel job with her and so far, no complaints. I look forward to learning more about mine and the brand in general. If you're curious, I grabbed a '22 RDX ASPEC Advance, SH-AWD. I posted a few pics of her in my photo album. Thanks for your time, I look forward to chatting more soon.

How did you end up deciding on an RDX, and were you considering any other vehicles at that time?

I travel for a living, and wanted something that would handle bad weather well, and I didn't like the jeep I had at the time. while driving through Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Washington last November I saw more than one acura handling the ice and snow just fine. I did my research and learned about the SH-AWD system and test drove a loaded forester, outback, crv and rdx. I wanted a very safe, highly reliable suv that would last me 10 years until i retire and had enough creature comforts to make nasty cold tolerable. From there, I struggled between the outback and RDX but after some thought I decided to go with the RDX. I've had good luck with the Honda brand over the years and it's got all the bells and whistles I wanted, is comfortable and feels more top of the line than the other 3 choices. I also had to admit that I wasn't likely to go offroad too much. A local dealer had the 22 top of the line with 8k on it for $47k and off I went.
