I'm happy to be part of the crew. I picked up my first Acura last November and have been enjoying my RDX ever since. I'm currently on my first travel job with her and so far, no complaints. How did you end up deciding on an RDX, and were you considering any other vehicles at that time?

 

I travel for a living, and wanted something that would handle bad weather well, and I didn't like the jeep I had at the time. while driving through Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Washington last November I saw more than one acura handling the ice and snow just fine. I did my research and learned about the SH-AWD system and test drove a loaded forester, outback, crv and rdx. I wanted a very safe, highly reliable suv that would last me 10 years until i retire and had enough creature comforts to make nasty cold tolerable. From there, I struggled between the outback and RDX but after some thought I decided to go with the RDX. I've had good luck with the Honda brand over the years and it's got all the bells and whistles I wanted, is comfortable and feels more top of the line than the other 3 choices. I also had to admit that I wasn't likely to go offroad too much. A local dealer had the 22 top of the line with 8k on it for $47k and off I went.
