My first and only new car was a 2003 Acura RSX Type S. At the time I really didn't appreciate what I had, wasn't skilled enough to exploit it's fun factor, and didn't know much about car mechanics in general. I totaled it in 2008 and am just now trying to get back into Acuras. If everything goes well I'm grabbing a 2008 Acura TL base Sunday. Right now I'm just enjoying reading up on the TL. Thanks for all the helpful content.
Love,
Brawny
TSX stunk, was loud, and had a ton of warning lights, none of which was made clearing the listing 😄
Back to the drawing board.
Would y'all take a risk on a 115k TL with solid maintenance done at dealership, plus a timing belt and water pump replacement at 90k?
It's out of town and I don't have time to look at it, but the pics look good, the maintenance looks good, and I'm thinking about just telling him to ship it to me after sending him some money.
A well maintained 3G TL is a solid choice. Where is it? You could ask other AZiners if they were local to the car to take a look for you. Buying sight unseen, is risky business.

I haven't thought about that.
It's in Snellville, GA, right outside of ATL.
If anyone is willing to take a look, I'd appreciate it. It's not (too) far from me, I'm in Anderson, SC, but with work and family, it's hard to find more than half a day to get away without making it hard on everyone.
I don't have any glamour shots, but I got the car: 2008 TL with 118k. I drove it from Snellville GA to Anderson SC and the only issue was a Tighten Gas Cap indicator. This far if I tighten it anymore I'm going to need a impact wrench to get it off! 😄
My guess is I'm going to need to replace the cap, but I have not had time to look into it.
One more thing, can I use the Hands Free Link to talk and listen to YouTube videos on my phone, or am I going to need a Bluetooth adapter for the radio?
I turned HFL on (I guess), but all it says is BOOTING UP. I'm not certain how long that's supposed to take, but I know it takes longer than 2 minutes so far.
