Hello everyone!
A new Acura owner is checking in. Few weeks ago said goodbye to my 2013 Focus ST and picked up 2023 TLX type S. Was pleasantly surprised with the ride comfort, it doesn't beat you up even in sport+ mode, and it seems to be handling its 4.2K lbs. quite well in the corners. Can't wait for nicer spring weather to take it to the hills for some twisties.
Congratulations on the TLX Type-S it looks beautiful in white under that sunlight! Also btw because you got the lightweight NSX wheels your Type-S weighs a bit less than 4200lbs
whats your plans for the car? Window tints, Paint Protection Film/Ceramic Coating?
Do you have your eye on any of the accessories for the Type-S like the all weather floor mats, carbon fiber interior trim, etc.?
Welcome to Acurazine! Congrats on the new ride. It must be a terrific upgrade. What other cars have you had in the past?
Thank you! Didn't own anything too exciting prior to ST: 2006 Ford Fusion v6 and before that - 2001 Camry.

Thanks! Actually, some of that stuff had already been in the car from the dealer - all weather mats, trunk liner, mudguards, and they claimed they also applied ceramic coating. Initially wasn't planning on installing PPF, but on the very day of purchase driving it home from the dealer I got a small rock chip on the bumper. That pissed me off enough to get the full front PPF wrap. Those photos I posted were actually taken on the day I picked it up from the installer. I'll most likely take it back to get a mild tint in a month or so.
Not sure about the mods yet. It seems the aftermarket support of TLX is not as rich as was for my old ST. Think I'll wait and see for now.

aftermarket performance upgrades fit the Type-S isn’t abundant yet but they are definitely getting there with tunes, downpipes and intakes
