Hello, folks; I have been a lurker here for a while and have had owned half a dozen or so Acuras over the years, a few 2G TLs, a 2G TL-S, 3G TL, RL, MDX. Its been a while since an Acura was in the stable, recently a friend asked if I was interested in his 3G TL-S 6 speed, having sold my AP1 S2000 last year and aching to get behind the wheel of a 6 speed honda I jumped on the opportunity. More pictures and updates to follow, car needs some love as the harsh New England winters havent been really kind to the paint.
Congratulations on the new ride; and welcome to the 3G 6MT club! First order of business, drain the MTF out of the transmission and replace it with ACDelco Synchromesh Friction Modified (part number 10-4014).

Cool, we lived in Windham and my wife worked in Hudson until a few years ago. We now live on a horse farm (not ours) in Auburn, just east of Manchester.
Still waiting to get the car registered as the DMVs are closed still. In the meantime I was able to find a mint condition driver side seat and steering wheel as well from a local junkyard for decent money; the current driver side seat has the usual TL rips plus the steering wheel has UV damage at/around 12 o clock.

I just bought an '06 with the 6MT. What does the Delco Synchromesh do for it that the Honda fluid doesn't?
