1st Gen tlx race build N/A
Hello everyone
I've always been a big fan of the j series engine and the potential they have. Decided to build a tlx and see how far I can push it . I went with the fwd model due lack of aftermarket support on the awd model . I've seen people push up to 330whp which is my goal Day 1
Next day straight to business Step up tires to firestone indy500 2355018
Ktuner
Takeda intake with afe throttle body spacer
Rv6 jpipe
Rv6 high flow cats
Throttle control pedal commander
Cirketworks exhaust
Unorthodox racing crank pulley
Oil catch can
Brembo bbk conversion

I went by the vin number and production year mine is a first Gen

Much quicker response way better on the low end and top. The throttle response as well is better . I'd really like to port the manifold and intake runners and throttle body next. Once that's done finally get a good tune .

Neat build. What kind of racing do you intend to do with it? It would have been interesting to see what your baseline was down the quarter mile, versus now. Autocross would be good to try, especially if you want to get into suspension mods.
