Exclamation 02 CL Type-S AV6 Swap

Hey guys new here just signed up. I found this site researching what to do about a bad trans in an 02 CL Type-S I was able to pick up for $250 and limp it home, wasn't too far. The information I found in various threads about the av6 swap got my gears turning so I sourced one. Got an 07 with 89k for $650 local salvage. I am excited to say after working on it for a total of about three days it's working magnificently. I almost died when I first drove it though when it did the exact same thing acs light flashing d light exclamation point light with the slipping and all. My heart literally sank. But I took a few minutes and realized that I rushed a bit a likely missed something. I checked the codes and found out about the gear position switch calibration which was mentioned in the instructions but not detailed. So a ten minute ordeal taking the tire and switch cover off to properly calibrate it took off battery positive to clear codes and followed the rest of the instruction making sure all gears showed on dash properly. Jumped in took a spin getting up to running temp with no lights slips or hiccups nothing but smooth shifts. Jumped on the highway mashing it to the floor and was absolutely shocked at how fast this thing is. Needles to say I'm so very thankful for the helpful information in the threads and couldn't be happier with the results. I'm looking for another one as we speak to fix and flip!!!
