AV6 Swap update

Well, I'm about 2500 miles into my swap now, and things seem to be pretty good.

At about 1000 miles I did a spill and fill on the trans, there was very little on the drain plug, fluid was good (was worried about remnants of TC and old rig), no bad smell - ZERO metal!!

WOT shifting is right on the money, however, under half load area, 2-3 seems a tiny touch 'lazy' and 3-4 is a little 'positive'

Now, due to an unforunate 'accident', the trans the boneyard sent me had the 4th chutch pressure switch mangled.... I had to swap my old one, which may be my issue.....

BUT

Other than that, everything is working well - beautiful car, deserves a little 'attention' hehe.... Just gotta make the wife jump onboard.....

Nice, couple question though...

1. Do you still have sports shift mode?
2. Did the car get quicker with the accord tranny?
3. How easy was the swap?

Thak you

I would get new 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches if I were you....they are cheap. You've come a long way with this swap to have some old out-of-spec switches put wear on the clutches.

1. Yes
2. No
3. Direct bolt on (minor swaps and mods), tools plus knowledge equal an pretty easy job

Got these a couple weeks ago, seems to have made a difference, cost about $45 a piece (I get roughly the same price as Del-Ray from my dealer, no shipping! Gotta love having a commercial account)
