Does anyone else want to do a track day somewhere? Specifically I'm talking a circuit track, but would be willing to do a drag strip as well. If you're interested let me know, I'd love to do this.

problem with circuits/autox is that you have to take a course I think. I probably should research this a bit more...

seriously though, my b-day is in Aug and I was plannin on doin something like this for my bday, well, not exactly like this but sort of. I was thinking more along the lines of the places that have exotic cars you can drive there. There are none in CT, there are some that are not too far though. It is quite expensive though but idc

 

Um yea, VERY expensive to do that. Even to do that with miatas is expensive. Why dont you do high-speed go carts. Theres a place in wallingford that is fun.

I wanna drive the exotic cars, and NO miatas! I am talking like Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, I have the info for a few places at home, it's like 1500-2k for the day. Only thing that sucks is you have to travel to get there, idc, im doin it, only live once!

Lime Rock Park is the only circuit track that i know of in CT.

Its come down in price a good chunk in the past couple of years, if we can get 20-30 people to show up, itll be a shit ton cheaper as well. plus there arent any open days there, you have to rent it as a club to use it. I think the only thing they require is helmets? I could be wrong with that though.
