New to Azine and New England...???'s about CT
How's it going fellow Acura Ziners new to the area as I'm going here for school..(Uhart)...just picked up a 2g TL and love it. Been in the honda family since my first car but this is definitely my favorite...so first off some drunk guy rubbed up against my rear fender in a traffic the second week of me having the car and so now i have a mean rash on the passanger side.
so quick questions
1.) Good places for tinting near hartford willing to drive about 30mins or so
2.) Good place to get a paint job
3.) may sound strange but good car washes, back in chicago we used to have Delta Sonic which did automatic exterior and full interior for like 20 bucks...all the places out here seem to be pay n' spray..just wondering if a full service car wash was around here
4.) and for the future, reputable shops to get some performance stuff done no more garage so i'm gonna have to pay someone to do what i've always done (ie suspension, exhaust maybe)
5.) Last anyone reccomend Acura of Avon or the one in manchester any reccomendation of one over the other...just wondering
I know it turned into a bunch of ??'s but just some things as I'm new to the area.
thanks

well you have excelerate for suspension and exhaust. Josh (excelerate) is a vendor here and comes highly reccomended. They are located in Branford, here is the site
http://www.excelerateperformance.com/about.htm
As far as the dealership in mancheser if you are referring to Schaller, DO NOT go there. I have heard good things about executive acura but have never been there.
Thats really all I can help you with since I am in the Norwich area. There are others here from the Hartford area, they will be able to help you with the other questions i'm sure.

nothing but great service from Acura of Avon and their waiting lounge is very nice as well. Its about the same distance as schaller is.
I usually wash my car myself at home, but if its cold out and I'm lazy, I'll take it to mr. sparkle do it yourself carwash in hartford.

Its a little bit of a haul for ya but I highly recommend Executive Acura, its where i got my car and my family has been customers there for around 10 or 11 years now. Their service department went down hill for a while but lately it has been pretty good.
By poor service i mean they literally destroyed the drivers seat in my moms MDX somehow, although they did replace it free of charge its just something that shouldnt happen etc...

I'm a 00' SSM TL only mods so far (as i've only had it for 3months) are 02-03 tails...looking to drop it soon and get a set of RJ Legends...oh and I've got the full OEM lip kit on it too.
And @JMillerUA6 I just started working there two weeks ago and normally work mornings and afternoons. I'm pretty easy to spot in there as i'm one of two guys that work there..lol its a chick depot in there...haha
Hope to see you guys around and I'm real easy to spot now as I've got a big ass scratch on my rear passanger side quarter panel from a drunk driver oh and NY Plates

Having a job to just pay for mods FTW. I wouldn't ever want my job if it wasn't to pay for mods. Now that I think of it, any job I have will be to pay for mods.
